This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of sterile compounding, and the ability to navigate complex REMS programs and financial pathways. You are helping to deliver the future of medicine to patients who previously had no other options.
Core Responsibilities

Gene & Cell Therapy Coordination
Managing the entire “chain of identity” and “chain of custody” for patient-specific therapies, from apheresis to infusion.

Complex Sterile Compounding
Overseeing the preparation of hazardous or highly sensitive sterile products, including chemotherapy and advanced biologics, under strict USP guidelines.

Rare Disease Management
Serving as the medication expert for orphan diseases, managing unique dosing, monitoring parameters, and patient support programs.

Protocol & Policy Development
Creating and implementing institutional policies for the safe handling, preparation, and administration of novel, high-cost therapies.

Afternoon: Sterile Compounding & Coordination
Oversee a technician in the cleanroom as they prepare a complex biologic for a patient with a rare genetic disorder. Afterward, coordinate with the infusion center nurse to ensure the patient’s pre-medications are given at the exact right time before the product is delivered.
